Case Study : PortCAS

PortCAS was a UNMC-developed prototype for an inexpensive virtual laparoscopic training simulator. The vision was to have a student-affordable device using position tracking software and a virtual environment. I was the UI/UX lead on the project, helping set the vision as well as figuring out the analytics platform attached to the simulator environment so students and instructors could review performance.

High-fidelity mockups were used by the programming team to create the simulation, as well as by UNMC for promotional material.
